Stella Kasdagli is a writer, translator, youth/women facilitator. As the founder of Women On Top, she designs and implements initiatives for the professional empowerment of women and girls and for the promotion of equality in the workplace. She is also the co-founder of the Bookworm online book club and of the Mentorkids mentoring network, which offers professional orientation mentoring to 15 to 18-year olds. She has been facilitating workshops around body image, social activation and the creative use of digital media for teens. She has studied French Literature in Athens, Greece, and Media Studies in London, and has worked for 10+ years as a women’s magazine and online editor. She has published two books, a memoir for young mothers, a YA novel on eating disorders and the Princess Athena series for the empowerment of girls, women and teens. She lives in Athens with her husband and two daughters.

Women On Top is a non-profit organization aiming for the professional empowerment of women and for equality at work. It was founded in 2012 and since then has created and monitored over 250 mentoring partnerships for the benefit of unemployed women, women who want to change their professional career, establish themselves in male-dominated professions, build their own businesses etc. It has also trained over 500 unemployed, employed and self-employed women in skills camps offering childcare for the little ones of those who are mothers. Last but not least, through the Women on Top in Business initiative, we provide training, consulting and project management services to businesses and organizations wishing to prioritize the equal representation of women at work, by investing to the diversity and balance of their talent pools as well as to the work/life balance of their employees.
