About you (please use English)
I worked as a Grants and Contracts Officer for the renowned International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA), where I was responsible for the
financial management of a portfolio of over 20 international research projects, financed by a variety of
international institutions (EU, the World Bank, NORAD etc.). I acted as a contract management liaison for
funding agencies (and internally for international researchers, research departments and service
departments), controlled the adherence to TORs by our subcontractors, facilitated the preparation of
budget proposals by ensuring conformity with all application requirements, facilitated audits, as well as
provided financial and accounting deliverables pertaining to fund management.
As a Consultant for Research and Training at the International Organization for Migration (IOM), where our
team built up the first counselling centre for migrants in Slovakia, I was responsible for all scientific
activities, relationship building, liaising with relevant institutions and stakeholders, fundraising, as well as
organising events/trainings/workshops with our cooperation partners.
At the Berlin Institute for Comparative Social Research, in my position of a Researcher and Project
Coordinator, I was designing and implementing both qualitative and quantitative international migration
research projects, writing reports/presentation and analyses, and gaining experience in applying for funding
from a variety of funders (EU, UN etc.). Moreover, I was responsible the facilitation and moderation of
