Coordinated White House Let Girls Learn Initiative in Pakistan; advised on design of girl’s education programming.
Advised on Environmental and Social Impact Assessment of Diamer-Basha Dam Project, including issues of resettlement and compensation, to ensure that it met gender and social impact criteria of international financers.
Collaborated with Dept. of State on implementation of the U.S. National Action Plan for Women, Peace, and Security.

Vital Voices Global Partnership – Program Manager, Women’s Economic Empowerment July 2013 – February 2015

Provided strategic planning services and training to local partners across Africa in advocacy and program management, including theory of change development, stakeholder mapping, indicator development, message creation, monitoring and evaluation, and the use of social media.
Managed portfolio of advocacy projects in Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, and Uganda addressing issues of gender inequality in the economy.
In Kenya, worked for the full implementation of Kenyan procurement laws requiring at least 30% of all government tenders to be awarded to businesses owned by women, youth, and people with disabilities.
In Nigeria, advocated for the Central Bank of Nigeria to implement, measure, and sustain its gender diversity targets.
In South Africa, worked toward the inclusion of women at all levels of the economy by contributing to the Women Empowerment and Gender Equality Bill and lobbying corporate S. Africa to align with the UN Women’s Empowerment Principles.
In Uganda, lobbied the Ministry of Agriculture to allocate 50% of resources available through the National Agricultural Advisory Services Program to qualified women farmers.
Implemented final program evaluation using outcome mapping methodology. Products included an advocacy toolkit and four campaign-based case studies.
