About you (please use English):
I work as researcher and lecturer at the Department of Sociology and Social Research of the University of Trento, where I teach social network theory and analysis at BA in International Studies. My laurea degree was in Sociology of the Organizations at the University of Trento (1996) and i hold a Ph.D. in Economic Sociology at the University of Brescia, Faculty of Economics (2001). Since my Post-Doc (2001-2003) I joined research projects in collaboration with local authorities (Trento Urban Municipality, Trentino’s Provincial Government), research institutes (ISIG. IRSRS) and private institutions and have been teaching social research methods at the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Trieste, for the Master in European Studies at Innsbruck University, and for the Master on Social Anticipation of the University of Trento. My current research interests are in two main areas. The first area concerns applications of Social Network Analysis and methodological innovation in social and economic research; while the second involves the social impact of technologies and the study of new and traditional communities, including educational and multi-ethnic settings. In the last years I collaborate with interdisciplinary research groups (SoNET at FBK foundation; E- inclusion SMART) and performed empirical research in the area of media studies and historical disciplines.
