(2024-2030) The Fifth Action Plan for Gender Equality of the Autonomous University of Barcelona (Spain) is the instrument through which the University’s gender equality and LGBTI+ policies are coordinated. Building on the previous plan, it reaffirms the University’s political commitment to the effective implementation of the principles of equal opportunities and non-discrimination. It recognises that safeguarding people’s rights and achieving substantive equality in social relations require not only a strong political commitment but also the mainstreaming of a gender perspective across all university activities and, therefore, the involvement of the entire university community.
