I have written my dissertation on Gender in Social Policy, comparing Swedish and German pension reforms, and given several seminars on Gender Studies and Feminist and Queer Theories. As a guest editor I have, together with Andrea Zimmermann, published an issue of Freiburger Geschlechterstudien on Affect Studies and held lectures on the topic. A few years ago, I have been part of the steering committee of the standing group on gender an political science in the German Political Science Association and organised a number of conferences and panels in the field.
